Switch Out Accessories In A Flash with the Dremel EZ Twist™ Nose Cap

Dremel EZ Twist™ Nose Cap for any rotary tool
One of the busiest times of year for home improvement projects, fall is a good time to hunker down with your to-do list and decide which areas around the house could use some attention before winter. Last month, we introduced you to the new EZ Twist Nose Cap, which speeds up the entire process of making accessory changes so you don’t lose any time switching out accessories. In fact, just by refitting your existing Dremel rotary tool with the Nose Cap, you’ll be able to make accessory changes up to five times faster than using a standard wrench!

The Nose Cap was first offered only on the Dremel 3000 tool and then the Dremel 4000 tool kits, but countless consumer requests encouraged us to offer it as a stand-alone product. The Nose Cap can now be added to your existing rotary tool as an upgrade and to take advantage of its onboard wrench feature.

Switching out accessories with a wrench adds extra steps to your project, and can get you sidetracked and distracted especially if you have to hunt it down, but with the EZ Twist Nose Cap you can grind rust and paint off a surface using a grinding accessory, like the 952 Aluminum Oxide Grinding Stone, then easily switch to a sanding drum or abrasive buff to sand down your surface.

Why we love it:
  • Your wrench is always handy because it’s always on the tool
  • Can be used on ALL Dremel rotary tools with a threaded nose-piece
  • No more lost wrenches
  • Soft-grip provides additional comfort
Because the EZ Twist Nose Cap becomes part of your Dremel rotary tool, you’ll always have your wrench at hand and will save time from ever having to look for it, so you can start checking off your projects faster than ever!

What’s New at Dremel
TR451 Random Orbital Sanding Kit and Replacement Sandpaper for the Dremel Trio

Dremel TR451 Random Orbital Sanding Kit

Got a sanding project on your to-do list? The Dremel Trio will help you smooth over everything with two new accessories. The TR451 Random Orbital Sanding Kit enables random-orbit face-sanding applications so sanding projects are less tedious and can be finished faster, with minimal vibration and scratching. This kit includes a round 2 ½-inch sanding disc with 60-, 120- and 240-grit sandpaper. And, when more sandpaper is needed, just pick up a set of peel-and-stick replacement discs.

Cut. Sand. Rout.

The Dremel Trio excels at sanding, but that’s not its only skill. With the Trio users can also cut and rout all with this one multipurpose tool. The 360-degree cutting technology and plunge-cut ability makes cuts quicker with more accuracy and control while its unique 90-degree pivoting handle is comfortable to use. Then with just a quick change of accessories, like the new Random Orbital Sanding Kit, the Trio will take you from cutting to sanding or routing.

Clean Your Grill

Clean your grill for a barbecue.

It’s almost the start of football season! Polish your grill off right this Labor Day with the Dremel 8200 and the right accessories to clean the grime off.

Here’s what you’ll need:
Step 1 Step 2
Step 1:
Start by cleaning up the outer aluminum surface, removing rust and corrosion, using your rotary tool and a 512E EZ Lock Finishing Abrasive Buff.
Step 2:
The 530 Stainless Steel Brush is perfect for cleaning any stuck-on grime on your grill grate. These brushes do not cause “after-rust” so they can help keep your grill cleaner longer. Set your tool on setting 15 on your speed switch and slowly work the brush over the grate.
