For the dad with everything in his toolbox, you can finally get ahead of the curve by surprising him with the first oscillating cutting blade with extremely durable carbide teeth. The Dremel Carbide Flush Cut Blade is the first in the market with high-performance carbide teeth, engineered to cut through the toughest materials your dad can get his hands on!

Watch the Carbide Flush Cut Blade cut through five nails in less than six seconds! The blade also cuts through hardwoods, hardened metals, nails, screws, stainless steel bolts, galvanized pipe, plaster and lathe, cement board, fiberboard, sheet metal, slate and ceramic tile.

Even if Dad doesn’t own a Dremel oscillating tool yet, this blade is designed with the new Universal Quick-Fit™ System, making it compatible with nearly every oscillating tool on the market. See more about the new system in this issue!

Lawn And Garden Kit

Tire Planter

Create a tire planter with the Dremel Multi-Max

It’s that time again: Time to sharpen your lawn mower or chain saw blades and get your lawn back in shape! Dremel is proud to offer the Lawn and Garden Rotary Tool Kit which includes a 100 Series rotary tool with three different attachments to sharpen garden tools of all kinds. The Lawn and Garden Kit features a cool-running ball-bearing construction for smooth and quiet operation, along with replaceable motor brushes to extend tool life.

Have any old tires lying around? Check out this creative way to display your spring flowers this season with the Tire Planter featured on Dremelweekends.com. Grab your Dremel Multi-Max™ oscillating tool and the unique MM430 Multi-Knife™ accessory to get started on this summery project.

Step-by-step instructions:
  • Measure and mark your desired pattern. We found the diamond point pattern easy to achieve and visually pleasing.
  • To make an even pattern, we divided the tire in half and marked points across from one another. We then halved those sections and marked points. We continued this process until we made a total of 14 points.
  • We used a Dremel Multi-Max MM40 tool equipped with the Multi-Knife to cut along the marked lines. This innovative blade makes cutting flexible materials easy.
  • To begin, we cut the outer points of our triangles with the outer hook edge. With your accessory mounted and your tool set on high, plunge into the outer tip of your triangle pattern and pull through the tire, across the marked lines.
    • Once you have cut all the way around your tire, remove the inner rim. You may use this as a base for your flower pot or turn the tire inside-out.
  • To create the blooming flower look with your tire, it will need to be turned inside-out.
    • Turning the tire inside-out is difficult at first but becomes easier once you get started. We flipped the tire over, knelt on the tread of the tire and pulled the cut edge up and toward us.

Universal Quick Fit™ System

Universal Quick Fit™ System

Universal Quick Fit™ System

The Dremel brand’s commitment to market leadership and innovation has led to the development of the quickest direct-fit system for oscillating accessories in the market. The Universal Quick Fit™ System offers a new interface for oscillating accessories that directly fits more oscillating tools than any other universal system.

In addition to fitting oscillating tools not made by the Dremel brand, the blade design gives oscillating accessories an open back for faster changes, and features a U-shaped mount so users can simply loosen the accessory, rather than taking the time to completely remove the screw, in order to swap out pieces.
